Gratitudes

To Basketful’s Local Vendors!

We are working fast to sell out and clean up our beautiful, beloved Charlottesville shop. Basketful in-person shopping will close on September 28.

There are a few weeks to visit and shop our crazy good deals before we close.

Closer to this holiday season, we’ll have gone from ‘brick and mortar’ to ‘click and order’. You’ll find us at shopbasketful.com for personal shopping and our always reliable curated gift and card options.

And by us… you know I mean global and local makers ♥️

But as we prep the shop to close, we are joyfully engaging customers supporting us in person with stories of care and love for Basketful’s space.

Not only reminiscing of past fun, but making new birthday, wedding, grandparent, and anniversary memories! So much to celebrate 🙌

While we are showered with love and bitter sweet thoughts - we are feeling immense gratitude.

So, in comes this blog series - Graditudes! Gratitudes will share our stories about super stars in our retail life - past and present 😘 🎁

Today, Gratitudes stars Basketful’s local makers!

From the earliest days of the shop in 2019, when I used to walk the Charlottesville City Market or Crozet Arts and Craft Show, ogling pieces I loved and asking their creators if they’d like to sell in our new store:

To the holiday Gift Box pop up in December 2023, coordinated by our phenomenal Kelly-Jayne and from which we built up or started long-lasting vendor relationships:

Our local makers have been on point!

To you, our Basketful makers, it’s not over yet, but certainly changing.

We’re grateful for your creative hearts, minds, and hands. Your art makes the world a more beautiful place! We have loved being your biggest fans and sharing your pieces with so many!

Basketful Gratitudes for you!!!

xoxo
