Basketful Lifestyle & Gifts is here to make it fun and easy to shop for meaningful gifts and items for your life. Here's a bit about how we do what we do.
SOCIALLY DISTANT, FREE LOCAL SHIPPING
We are able to deliver to most Charlottesville addresses the same day or next day, if items are in stock. We started this in 2020 when our store was temporarily closed and you loved it, so it's here to stay.
To set up local shipping for free, please do the following:
Put all items you wish you purchase in your online cart at shopbasketful.com
Check out and pay online, as usual
During the checkout process, select "in-store pick-up." This will remove the shipping fee from your total.
Before you complete the payment, add "Request for free local delivery to [insert address]" in the notes/comments box on the checkout page.
When in doubt, if you have any questions before or after your online purchase, email us at email@example.com.
Basketful's delivery hands are freshly clean anytime they touch your products or your delivery bag. For your health and ours, we will coordinate a hand-off of your products that maintains at least 6 feet in between your folks and ours. We appreciate your care and understanding.
Our goal is to ship your order as quickly as possible. We are a small, independently owned shop, and it can take a few days to process orders. We will notify you via email when your order ships. If you are local to the Charlottesville area, you may meet a Basketful team member who delivers your item in person.

We love this. We are a small, independently owned shop, and items available online can be picked up in the store within 2-3 days to save on shipping costs. Immediately after making your purchase online, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and request to make arrangements to pick up your gift our Main Street Market, Charlottesville, VA store. Of course, you can always make your purchase in-person in our store. Just remember, we don’t have large quantities of each product. Consider snagging what you love online before it goes.
Basketful does not currently ship internationally. If you have fallen in love with an item, email us at email@example.com, and we can explore shipping possibilities.
Return & Exchange Policy
CHANGE TO RETURN POLICY DUE TO COVID-19
To protect our customers, we are not accepting any returns for purchases made after 3/28. As soon as possible, we will return to our standard return policy. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, within 14 days of receiving your shipment or purchasing in-store, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may authorize a return.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Once we have received the items in their original condition, we will issue a refund in the original form of payment. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
